Stunning WMF Art Nouveau 'Hunting Procession of Diana' Wall Placque (complete with original hanging ring), design No 250, included in 1906 catalogue, p316.
Silver plated in Old Silver finish, depicting Diana, Goddess of Hunting, leading a hunting party with dogs, chasing a stag, with classic whiplash edging. The detail is so fine it is incredible, each time you look you see something new.
In excellent condition, with very minimal ware to silver plate.
Marked A K & Cie, for Albert Kohler u. Cie., Vienna, a metalware company acquired by WMF in 1900, who manufactured WMF designs under their own mark.
