Circa 1900, walnut side table or serving table by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. The top in matching quarter veneered walnut has a raised pie crust edge, with the apron to the side and back in burr walnut. There is a configuration of 1 long and 2 short drawers to the front with cast brass swan neck handles and beneath the centre drawers are fruit and foliate carvings with C scrolls, continuing down to the top of the legs. It has strong Lorimer influences.
