Wedding Love Gift Very Fine Chip Carved Oak Dutch mangling Board 18th/19th Century.
The Mangling board is in wonderful original good used condition with beautiful original old patination, the carving feels like velvet by its age.
The mangle board is carved with two names: the male name is Jacob Buis and the female name is Neeltje Steur.
Both names are typical old Dutch Names, this mangling board was carved for a wedding in the Fishermen’s village Edam/Volendam.
This mangling board is extremely fine carved for a chip carving.
