Circa 1900 An interesting walnut wine cooler/coal box by’ Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’, rectangular shaped casket with its raised top, stylish lifting handle to the front with C scrolls typical of ‘Whytock & Reid’, the top is hinged and opens to show 2 gilded hinges and a lift out metal insert, the cabinet has raised panels on all sides and rests on 4 squat bun feet.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
