Circa 1830, Biedermeier style William IV mahogany and inlaid library chair. With curved top rail with flame mahogany facing and padded leather back, arms and drop in seat. The arms finish with a shepherd’s crook with floral carving to the outside, and the scrolling to the front matches it. The deep apron in flame mahogany has carved brackets to the sides, and it all stands on 4 simple legs which have a curved top and taper down.
