Circa 1920, good Blacksmith made wrought iron demi lune stick stand. The top back section has a wonderful raised open metalwork in a stylish design. At the front there is another raised section with curling strands of metal. The uprights at front and sides are square with a twisted section in the centre. There is a deep drip tray to contain the water from the umbrellas and sticks, and at the front of this there are several metal sections which are linked together to form a curling pattern. The uprights continue down to the feet formed from a pair of swirling pieces of metal at the sides, and at the front 2 similar ones join each other and form a heart shape. This stylish stick stand is great colour and good condition.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
