A stunning watercolor by renowned 19th Century British Artist “J Langlois”Signed on the lower right .This amazing work of art is housed in the original carved wood & gold gilt frame. The original paper backing is still intact with the label of the framer .The work is excellent as you can see & the subject of hunting dogs waiting they’re turn is just awesome .The colors are so pleasing & true to life .The painting has some slight water staining that thankfully blends right into the grasses ,It blends so well that I did not notice it when I bought this painting .Anyway it can be restored easily without any pain or expense. This painting is a great perfect size measuring in the frame 28 ¼” x 16 ½” & the sight size is 25” x 13”Langlois is world renowned for his sporting & Spaniel dogs ,he worked most often in oils, so watercolors by him are not very common ,
Striving for Excellence
It isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks,
it is consistent attention to & honest respect for the Customer.
