Online Antiques Adapt to the New Situation
The world’s-leading antique online platform has announced new and enhanced routes for sales during the Covid-19 lock-down. www.antiques.co.ukis now open to all art galleries, antique shops, collectors and private clients worldwide. There is also a new pay-as-you-go option launched to to reduce costs to buy and sell. This is combined with a valuation service that allows trade and private clients to continue ‘business as usual’.
The founder of the website, Iain Brunt, stated: "With the present Covid-19 pandemic, the antiques sector faces a game-changing moment – we can either fully adopt to digitalisation and the benefits of technology, or we can continue to plough a lonely furrow which, in the present and future economic climate, would frankly be suicide."
