Wimbledon – strawberries, cream and a few collectible items
No sooner are we comforting ourselves over yet another England disappointment at the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, than the tennis is upon us. Monday will see the start of the Wimbledon Championship 2014. The gates will open on to the most famous grass courts in the world and world class players will battle it out to reach the final. They hope for a chance to win that coveted trophy and hold it aloft up to the sky, kissing it in front of an audience of appreciate fans and photographers eager to get that best shot of this year’s champion. Audience members will be decked out in all their finery, strawberries and cream will be popular again and tall glasses of Pims will be drunk in the garden, while we watch from the comfort of our own homes.
