James Forster Antiques was established in the latter part of 2019 and is based in the beautiful county of Dorset, South West England.
We aim to offer our new customers, and regular clients, an eclectic mix of beautiful and interesting items predominantly from the 19th century, with the emphasis firmly on quality, condition, and wherever possible provenance. We have a special interest in fine Writing Slopes and sculpture of the period.
Currently, and mainly due to lockdown restrictions, we have an online-only presence across four platforms, with social media initiatives currently in-hand. We welcome enquiries from our customers by email, or phone, whether to discuss a particular piece, or to confirm carriage/shipping costs and delivery.
Payment.
We are happy to take payment via Paypal, or if preferred, by bank transfer or cheque. This can easily be arranged by phone or email:and dispatch will be made on receipt of cleared funds.
Carriage/shipping
Dispatch will usually be made on the next working day using a recognised courier. Depending on the piece in question, carriage or shipping costs will usually include: insurance, tracking and signature on delivery.
