19th century japanese offering box

This is a lovely piece. It is a late 19th century Japanese temple offering box. Measuring 15.5cm in height, 15cm in diameter and 24cm in length, it opens from the top to reveal a cavity. Below this is a drawer with metal handle with lock. There is no longer a key but the drawer is open. It is decorated with metal studs. The main body is wood but I am not sure what, possibly oak. It is a lovely rustic decorative piece with a great patina. Item cost includes postage.
