19th century treen shoe snuff box

A 19th Century snuff shoe with sliding lid. This treen novelty snuff box is in the form of a lady's shoe and as shoes wear considered to be items of good luck and love , hence tying shoes to the back of a wedding car , this may well have been given by the bride to her husband to be.
It is a lovely shape with detailed heel. There is some rubbing but the sliding lid works well and it has really nice patina. height 6cm length 7cm.
