Circa 1680. A late 17th Century Flemish/Dutch rosewood ebony and ebonized kast. The projecting cornice carved with a lion’s mask with a rampant lion cartouche above a frieze carved with foliate scrolls and putti. The panel moulded doors with ripple carving and trailing flower garlands, flanked and divided by spiral carved columns, the central column is movable, concealing the escutcheon, opening to a shelved interior on a breakfront base with one long drawer, carved with further foliate scrolls, raised on four large squat bun feet.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
