A Rare & Beautiful 100 Year Old Antique Edwardian Oak Prayer Stand. Made in England during the reign of King George V in around 1920 to a lovely standard. around the turn of the century in around 1900 to a lovely standard. The wonderful simplistic gothic revival prayer stand with slanted oak stand and raise ledge raised on shaped supports with pierced carved gothic design united by a carved stretcher. Resting on a base with folding foot support. Made to wonderful proportions it will stand proud in any room.
The oak has a wonderful colour and rich patina created over the last century. A wonderful piece of history that’s bursting with historic charm.
Worth buying even just as an investment or store of wealth. As expected with age some wear and tear with age including minor marks from use.
