antique chinese carved ivory card case

For sale is this lovely antique Chinese carved ivory card case. One side has a vase shaped cartouche well carved with people amongst willow trees and other foliage. The other side has two lozenge style cartouches again well carved with people and foliage. The card case measures 10.5cm tall by 6.5cm wide and 1cm thick. It is in very good condition with a small hairline just above the large lozenge cartouche and another small hairline to the interior. The lid is a little loose fitting. A good solid example of its type with a nice cream colour to both sides. There are two small dark spots showing to the face of this case, they have now been removed.
