This is an antique coffee pot. An English, Old Sheffield silver plated tea kettle, dating to the Regency period, circa 1830.
- Attractive Regency coffee jug with fine engraved detail
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in excellent order
- Silver plate displays minimal tarnishing
- Bright, polished appearance with reflective finish
- Hinged, dome lid surmounted with a foliate motif finial upon a bone mount
- Elegant pouring spout engraved with chased foliage and scroll detail
- Elegant handle hosting bone insulators and thumb rest with leaf detail
- Fascia to front and reverse decorated with engraved flowerheads
- Raised upon a circular footer, with rolled form and bead finish
This is a fascinating antique coffee pot, with a bright silver plated appearance. Delivered ready to display.
