This is an antique ornate boot scraper. An English, cast iron doorway shoe pull, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.
- Eye-catchingly decorative scraper with a charming appearance
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
- Cast iron form presents a good, consistent graphite finish
- Pleasingly robust at a weight of 6.19kg (13.64 lb)
- Ornate scraper with a foliate motif and drop finial to centre
- Usefully wide scraper at 13cm (5'')
- Wide drip tray with a distinctive shaped and dished edge
- Illegible maker's mark and registered design diamond to the base
