This is an antique ornate wall mirror. A French, gilt gesso and bevelled glass mirror, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Dashing wall mirror with an ornate continental elegance
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Gilt gesso frame presents beautifully with rich golden hues
• Original bevelled mirror plate shows a desirable light foxing

• Bold surmount stands prominently above the whole with relief cabochon to centre
• Oak leaf and acorn scroll motif decorates the pierced frame
• Deep lower surmount with central lobe creates a striking adornment
• Ready to mount, dressed with hanging loop to the rear
