An antique Granddaughter Clock charachterised by its short stature of less than 6ft in height and its counterweight driven mechanism. This model is branded "Parkinson & Frodsham". Granddaughter clocks were mostly made popular in the 1920s. Most of which had veneered plywood cases, yet there are exceptions which will have solid casings. This Granddaughter clock has a solid teak case in almost perfect condition and also has a painted steel dial of 13 inches. The high quality of the casing already depicts its better standards. This longcase clocks dates back to the late 1890s and is still in perfect working order. It comprises its winding key and once wound can hold up to 5days.
