This is an antique spinning chair. An English, carved mahogany work stool, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Fascinating work chair with a fine carved appearance
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
- Relief carvings accentuate the tall, narrow back rest and octagonal seat
- Finished with flowerhead and pierced heart motif
- Back rest held securely with peg joint, can be removed for storage
- Raised upon a quartet of turned legs
