c.1770’s english infantry officer’s lionshead sword

Very good example of a late-18th Century English infantry officer’s sword. With distinctive brass, lionshead pommel and typical slotted guard. Of a type carried during the American War Revolutionary War. The grip is made from carved and grooved horn. The blade is of plain, fullered type. No scabbard. Blade length is 25.75 inches (31.5 inches overall).
