Circa 1930s. Mahogany cased barograph by’ Short & Mason of London’, contained in a mahogany frame glazed on five sides. The mechanism is in gilded brass and has recently been serviced and is working. The glass top lifts off the base for accessing the barograph, all sitting on a stylish mahogany base with ogee moulding and resting on four squat feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
