A superb porcelain London shape tea cup and saucer from the relatively short-lived factory of Charles Bourne, produced in Staffordshire around 1820. Both cup and saucer decorated with a border of gilt dolphins supporting groups of summer flowers hand-painted in bright enamel colours, interspersed with stylised flowers of gilt and red. The factories production spanned a period between c.1817 and 1830. During this time it produced items of very high quality which are now quite rare. The bases of both pieces bear the pattern number, CB / 320, in red. Both cup and saucer are in perfect, original, sound condition with no wear to the decoration. Please note: The purchase price includes postage and packing.
