An attractive porcelain coffee cup and saucer from the Ridgway factory, produced around 1820. Both pieces decorated with a shaped, dark blue border overlaid with gilt scrolls and with pendant flowers and leaves, hand-painted in red and green enamels. The base of both cup and saucer bear the hand-written, fractional pattern number, 2 / 893, in red. In excellent, original, sound condition. The only wear confined to two small areas of the gilt cup ring on the saucer. Please note: The purchase price includes postage and packing.
