derby coffee cup, c.1790-1800

A porcelain coffee cup produced at the Derby factory between 1790 and 1800. Decorated with a narrow band of dark blue overlaid with stylised leaves and white dots with gilt swags beneath. The base bears the hand-written, crowned cross batons mark and the pattern number, 81, in puce. In excellent, original, sound condition with no wear to the decoration. Please note: The purchase price includes postage and packing.
