Circa 1850. Dutch marquetry inlaid walnut bookcase or display cabinet on chest. Surmounted by an arched cornice with chequered inlay above a frieze inlaid with boxwood lines and foliage and floaral marquetry. The arched door with matching marquetry inlaid frames and the side with glazed and marquetry inlaid arched panels. All sitting on a concave base above marquetry chest with shaped and moulded fore edges above three cock beaded inlaid bombe front drawers with original rococo, brass handles and escutcheons and with an inlaid skirt below. Supported on carved ball and claw feet in front and shaped bracket feet behind. In excellent condition.
