Circa 1900, classic shaped Dutch walnut chest of drawers. The top has wonderful matching veneers and a shaped edge with a nice ogee moulding. Beneath this is a block front section with three drawers with classic Dutch cast brass handles and stylish escutcheons. Between each of the drawers is an ogee moulding. Beneath the bottom drawer is a shaped apron, and at the front is a canted pilaster finishing on a block and a moulded edge which continues around the sides. All standing on two wonderful bold and stylish hairy paw ball and claw feet at the front, and simple square block feet at the back. Good size and colour, excellent condition.
