Circa 1860. An interesting gilded and ebonized French portico clock. The ebonized platform top with fine ormolu pierced plaque on its facing. The clock dial and movement is held in place by four ebonized columns with fine ormolu capitals and bases. The circular clock face has Roman numerals, elegant bezel and pierced steel handles. The whole piece stands on a platform base with further Gilded and pierced plaque on the front, resting on four squat bun feet. The clock has been serviced and is working.
