Circa 1860. An early Victorian French walnut floor standing or wall hung display cabinet. The elegant pagoda top with checkered inlay in the moulded cornice with glazed shaped door beneath, the door following the form of the top. Inside three shelves which can be adjusted, the gables are glazed also, the door is flanked by a pair of pilasters with walnut facing, the base with small rondels in each corner and a reeded mounding to the front and sides.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
