ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Coronation Stool designed by Edward Barnsley for Maple & Co for the Coronation of King George VI on May 12th 1937. This limed oak stool would have been used in Westminster Abbey on the day of the Coronation and purchased afterwards. Fully stamped underneath, totally original condition, original green/blue velour upholstery, original gold braid trim. Original Carrying Handles. Comes complete with a hand made floral dust cover and an original Official Souvenir Programme. A Rare Chance.
