Circa 1800s, George III bureau in figured Spanish mahogany. The crossbanded top opens to reveal an exceptionally well fitted interior with inlaid decorative panels including a cupboard door and secret drawers. There are 2 short, and 3 long graduating oak-lined drawers, with gilded brass loop handles and it all stands on original bracket feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
