Circa 1890. A good George III style mahogany armchair. The upholstered spoon back with large stuff over seat with two well-shaped arms finished with foliate carving on the top with fish scale beneath, supported on shaped uprights. The stylish out swept back legs with foliate carving on the knees and quarter blocks finishing on a ball and claw foot, front legs are similar but not as extreme in the sweep.
