george iii style oak lowboy

Circa 1880. George III style carved oak lowboy. Solid top with foliate carving fore edge, a configuration of one long drawer flanked by two smaller drawer drawers. All profusely carved with foliate carving, cast brass and pierced back plate handles, with a shaped and carved frieze beneath which continues around the sides. The table stands on four square tapering legs finishing on a brass cup, with brass castors beneath.
