Fine oak, figured walnut and mahogany, George III longcase clock, having arched dial inscribed with Arabic numerals and J. Woolmer, Reepham and with painted Chinaman bedside a pagoda, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and 8-day movement striking on a bell, all in attractive inlaid hood with swan neck pediment, brass finials and elegant turned columns with brass capitals above arched, fan inlaid and crossbanded door, flanked by canted string inlaid corners terminating in ebony inlaid base and shaped plinth. This excellent grandfather clock is in wonderful condition throughout, ready to place at home. c1780
The movement has been cleaned and serviced by a horologist and it is guaranteed for 12 months.
