SN1088 Fine quality, Georgian, oak, longcase clock, having swan neck pediment to top with finials and gilded rose carvings united by fine fret work, glazed, painted frieze below, flanked by reeded columns, shaped crossbanded in mahogany doors with reeded quarter pillars, fielded base with canted, reeded corners, all standing on bracket feet. This clock has 8-day rack striking, attractive painted dial with seconds dial, bludsteel serpentine hands and date aperture. c1790
