Circa 1840. A quality George III style mahogany shaped fold over card table. The rectangular top with bow ends and a finely carved foliate fore-edge, the top opens to reveal a felt lined interior with guinea wells and drink placements. One of the back legs is hinged and swings out to support the top when open, the deep shaped frieze conceals a full-length drawer which is oak lined, all resting on four elegant shaped cabriole legs, the front ones profusely carved on the facing with a pattern resembling a cartouche, all terminating on a ball and claw foot.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
