herbert terry & sons model 1227 black anglepoise desk lamp

A great example of the iconic design of the original model 1227 Herbert Terry & Sons Anglepoise lamp. The model 1227 was originally manufactured from 1938 to 1968. This is one of the earlier models with the shade rolled outwards at the bottom of the shade. It retains its original black paint and has been fully rewired and PAT tested. There are signs of age, various small knocks and marks as can be expected for its age, but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
