A delightful looking Venetian parcel-gilt and polychrome painted blackamoor waiter, carved as a Nubian attendant, circular plateaux, square base, 120cm high. The item dates from circa. late 19th C/early 20th C. It is richly decorated and finely detailed. There are signs of age, various small knocks, cracks and marks as can be expected for its age, but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
