Circa 1850. A large profusely carved stylish oak Dutch/ Flemish Hall stand. The center section with carved cornice and a pair of foliate carved arches, with three ribbed upright, the sides with a pair of carved lions at the top and two well carved figures beneath with inscriptions and lettering in Dutch, beside these is a pair of paneled seats, in the center a full-length carved drawer, supported on a pair of carved stems with fluting beneath, the outside of the seats rest on ball and claw , all resting on a raised platform base which follows the form of the top, with carving on the facing of the enclosed plinth.
