late victorian cameo brooch

This is a lovely late Victorian early 20th century cameo brooch. Set in a simple silver frame with a 'c' clasp and safety chain. It has a small fracture on the background shell but is tight. It is stamped 'Made in Italy' so was likely a souvenir from a trip to the continent, very popular with Victorians at this time. Has a loop so can also be worn as a pendant. A gem.
