Circa 1880, mahogany, exhibition quality scoreboard by H.Nelmas and Co, Glasgow. This is wall mounted with a mahogany frame and polished top with a stylish cornice. Beneath this is the name plate, gilded with a black background. The scoreboard has the numbers on a circular ebonised and gilded dell which rotates and has a turning knob at the end. Beneath is the marker which slides up and down to indicate the score. There is two glazed doors in the centre with bevelled edge glass and inside is 4 shelves with circular apertures for the balls when the game is not being played. There is also a section for playing billiard games.
