Circa 1890. A monumental malachite inlaid black marble mantel clock. The drumhead with ribbing to the surface, brass bezel with bevel edged glass, white enamel face with Roman numerals and hand cut steel hands. Beneath the clock there are further shaped sections, gilded scrolling, and scratch foliate carving on the facing. Standing on a raised enclosed marble plinth, with 2 malachite panels to the sides and further foliate carving. The clock strikes on a coil, has recently been serviced and is working.
