necklace of ancient egyptian faience beads

A professionally restrung necklace comprising many hundreds of Egyptian faience disc and tube beads on six strands, gathered towards each end in a circular clasp and continuing as a single string strand for fastening around the neck. The beads are generally a deep blue in colour and have been graded and matched to each other. The beads have been restrung with modern cord and fastener (the original binding has long since perished), and are suitable for modern wear.
