oak framed dutch marquetry side chair

Circa 1800, oak framed Dutch marquetry side chair. With raised top rail profusely inlaid with floral marquetry and a similarly inlaid shaped splat, uprights and side rails. With drop in shaped seat pad connected to the uprights which form the slightly outswept back legs, finishing on a pad foot. Inlaid designs continue on to the shaped apron to the front and sides, with cabriole front legs with marquetry tops and a raised hoof foot.

Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
