Circa 1920. Original handmade stained pine framed Orkney chair with a nice degree of wear, upholstered with oaten straw and marram grass and with a pop out rattan seat. The short-shaped arms in the Kirkness style and supported on the typical tapering square Orkney legs with peripheral stretchers.
