Circa 1920s. An unusual and rare pair of Chinese huanghuali chest of drawers. The rectangular chest with floating panel tops and fielded panel sides. There is a configuration of two short over two full length drawers, each with classic shaped brass handles with circular back plates, each of the drawers has a raised front and beaded foredge, beneath the bottom drawer there is a further curved moulding with a beading, the chest rests on four simple square feet with beading on two sides.
