pair of george iv carved and gilded pier mirrors

Circa 1820, pair of George IV carved and gilded pier mirrors. With 2 mirror plates to each mirror, held in place by a gilt frame with a simple moulding either side of the top and fluted pilasters with carved capital. The base has the pilasters on a rectangular block and a central ogee moulding between, both mirrors retain the original gold leaf (faded but un-touched).

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
