Circa 1860, quality pair of Victorian bow fronted pedestals (adapted). With their solid mahogany tops and exaggerated thumb moulding fore-edge. Beneath the top is a bow fronted door which follows the same form as the top and has matching flame mahogany panels. On the left hand side when the door opens there is a shelf and large drawer and on the opposite one there is two pull out slides and a cupboard beneath. The gables are polished and the whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth with a chamfered fore-edge and flame mahogany front. The cabinets have been re-polished.
