Circa 1900. Qing period russet coloured Carved Chinese hardwood chair. The back surmounted by a finely carved eagle above inter scrolled dragons and with curved arms extended forward as dragons heads. The large serpentine front seat with Chinese motifs above a pierced and carved seat rail. Supported on cabriole legs with dragon carved knees and scrolled feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
