rare medieval pewter miniature axe head

A pewter miniature axe head with crosshatch pattern in relief on both sides. The axe head would have been fitted to a small wooden shaft, and the shaft retains traces of that original wood. It is though that such tokens were worn by the spectators at tournaments.
15th century AD.
